What Certificate/Card Do I Need?

In all Australian states and territories in order to sell or serve alcohol you must have a “Statement of Attainment” for the nationally recognised unit of competency named “SITHFAB002 – Provide responsible service of alcohol.

How do I Know I am Doing the Correct Course?

Check that the training provider:

  • State that they issue a “SITHFAB002” “Statement of Attainment”
    • If they issue a “certificate of completion” or a “Statement of Approval” or something else it is probably NOT the accredited RSA course.
  • Show their Registered Training Organisation (RTO) number.
    • RTO’s are issued with a number when they are accredited and they generally display this number on their website.

  • Display the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) logo:

How do I get my SITHFAB002 Statement of Attainment?

  • Statements of Attainment are special types of certificates. They can only be issued by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
  • EOT is an RTO and is approved to deliver the nationally accredited RSA course.
  • Upon successful completion of EOT’s online RSA course you will be issued with a SITHFAB002 Statement of Attainment.
